About The Instructor
Rene Rivas is a highly skilled Vascular Access/PICC specialist with many years of diverse nursing experience, including roles in the ER, ICU, Oncology, and IV Therapy. As a seasoned Vascular Access Nurse, Rene has mastered the art of PICC line insertion, ultrasound-guided vascular access, and advanced catheter care.
Drawing from extensive clinical expertise and a passion for education, Rene now trains registered nurses to excel in Vascular Access/PICC nursing through hands-on skills training and evidence-based instruction. As a proud U.S. Army veteran, Rene brings discipline, leadership, and a commitment to excellence into every teaching opportunity, ensuring nurses are equipped with the confidence and competence to thrive in this specialized field.
